PUNCH WITH PRIDE

In 2019 World Pride was hosted by New York City and our flagship studio in Flatiron was right in the heart of the celebration. In an effort to support our Shadowbox LGBTQ community and the larger community celebrating that month, we wanted to go all out transforming our space into a much more colorful version of itself. We hung a custom made rainbow neon X in the boxing ring. This symbol was extended to our custom Pride boxing glove and our Pride shirts that we sold to benefit a local LGBTQ organization. One of the signatures of our studio is the glove wall, where all of our rental gloves hang when they are not in use. As one of the first things you see when you walk into the space, we had to leverage this iconic wall. We transformed it into a large pride flag made out of boxing gloves. After pride month was over, these gloves were sold to our clients.
